Account Representatives
Efficient collection of unpaid bills is crucial to the financial stability of any company and the economic foundation of the community. More importantly, it's helping consumers with past due accounts find their way to financial stability.
As an account representative, you are the crucial link in the process. Training and coaching helps our new representatives develop the skills to establish a relationship of trust … over the telephone … with people who are in challenging situations. After gathering information, the account representative proposes a fair solution and negotiates an agreement.
Our account representatives recover debt for some of the nation's leading banks, credit card companies, retailers, utility companies, telecommunications companies, hospitals, colleges, universities and state and local governments.
OSI account representatives must be highly skilled in customer service, communication, problem solving and negotiation. In addition, to be successful in this role we look for people who:
- Demonstrate assertiveness and persuasiveness
- Are self-starters and enjoy a fast-paced atmosphere
- Follow through on assignments until complete
- Have basic computer skills
- Are comfortable talking on the phone for long periods of time
- Are capable of handling multiple tasks
